Eureka Software-nominated Thomas Clark of TS Watches was chosen as a finalist for the 2nd annual ABJ Tech Innovation Awards. Thirty-six companies were nominated for the awards and more than 150 people attended the breakfast event on Dec. 4 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel honoring the nominees and winners. The Tech Innovation Awards highlights the most ground-breaking technology ideas in Central Texas. Award entrants are accepted regardless of the stage the idea is in - it could be an idea written on a napkin or a concept a multi-million dollar company already has in the works.
Clark's invention, the RxWatch, provides a dual purpose - it reminds people needing daily chronic condition medication to take their medicine and stores it as well. Every time the user opens and closes their watch to take the medication the watch monitors and records this process.
