As part of Microsoft's endeavor to expand their knowledge of partner's concerns and issues the MSRPR was launched in 2006. Partners invited to participate are asked their opinions via surveys at least once a month.

 Most of the panel's feedback is submitted online, although there may be opportunities to participate through in-depth phone and in-person interviews throughout the year.
