Monty Myers is the founder and CEO of Eureka. Eureka's story is a classic, spare bedroom, bootstrap start-up. His leadership has produced steady growth with award-winning results for more than 20 years. The company has been financially successful every year.
Don't expect Monty to take all the credit. A very humble man, Monty attributes Eureka's success to the amazing team he assembled. Eureka has always enjoyed lengthy staff tenure - now averaging approximately eight years.
Monty is a "techie" at heart and his software development career spans roughly 30 years. He began his formal work in computer software in middle school (very precocious) and graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with his bachelor's degree in Engineering. Monty also performed substantial graduate-level course work at the University of Texas at Austin.
Today, Monty focuses on strategic business management as well as developing client and partner relationships. Monty is a recognized software leader and in-demand consultant.
On a personal note, Monty is significantly involved in community education and faith-based organizations. He enjoys youth sports, snowboarding and don't be surprised to see Monty fly his plane to an off-site client meeting rather than flying coach. Married since 1987 to the love of his life, Lee Anne Myers, Monty has two sons.
