3M’s Test and Measurement division faced a challenge when the hardware platform for their handheld DSL Line Analyzer was scheduled to stop production. With a sunset date fast approaching, 3M partnered with Eureka to select a next-generation platform for the product line. The team selected Windows CE.Net and by working closely with the 3M engineers, Eureka provided not only the technical roadmap and sustainable software architecture, but also supplied the leadership and mentoring necessary. This allowed the 3M distributed development team to fully realize the new technologies and its potential.

Alethes, a mortgage lending company, compensates its loan officers within 48 hours of a closing based on a complex formula and a stack of supporting documents. The resulting paperwork drained company resources and was susceptible to human error. Eureka and Alethes partnered to develop LTS Online, a web-based application that loan officers use to submit information and track loan-related forms and fax documentation.

AutoGas is a leading vendor of software solutions for customer loyalty and operational systems for the gasoline and high-volume retail and c-store industries. AutoGas partnered with Eureka to lead the company’s efforts to become certified for CISP/PCI compliance. Eureka engaged directly with AutoGas’s internal development teams and the selected compliance auditor throughout the process to minimize the impact to AutoGas’s operations and ongoing and development initiatives. Bingo Books formed a strategic partnership with Eureka to accelerate the development of advanced multimedia and interactive video e-learning products. The partnership produced an intuitive experience across standard computer and video platforms. This was achieved through the use of both commercially available and custom multimedia, security and distribution technologies.
CD3, makers of DiscGear and Perfect Petzzz, contracted Eureka to do some professional services work with them. The consulting led to a number of partnership projects between Eureka and CD3. Projects included Cisco Pix/ASA security appliance deployment for firewall and secure VPN access, migration of the company’s email system to Exchange Server 2003 and an eCommerce site collocation setup with encrypted connection back to the main-office database.
Danka/Omnifax, now Xerox, partnered with Eureka to build and deploy Point-of-Service, a custom field service automation solution. This application allowed customer service representatives and centralized dispatchers to interact with hundreds of field service technicians in real time using web and Windows CE™-based mobile devices. The system supported technicians with diagnostics and parts/supply selection, managed service tickets, created and printed customer invoices, managed technician scheduling and route planning.
IAP, a high-volume, web-based auto parts distributor contacted Eureka to help ensure the high availability of their eCommerce and main office systems. Projects included new SQL server deployment, complete network collocation for business continuity, Cisco Pix and ASA deployments for secure site-to-site connectivity.

Eureka aided Lewis by helping design a user-centric handheld point-of-care patient record management and assessment product for the home health care marketplace. Samsung partnered with Eureka to update legacy human resources processes by combining self-service intranet applications, point solutions for employee performance management, comprehensive compensation analytics and reporting.
